There is another lot just north of Green Street: Parking Concepts Inc, which has affordable all-day parking, as well.
Public Transportation
LitFest is located right across the street from the Metro Del Mar Gold Line subway station. The Gold Line runs all the way to Union Station and up to Sierra Madre.

In the middle of planning my event with Gail Mishkin from the Flintridge Bookstore and Coffee Shop, Gail mentioned the LitFest Pasadena to me. I am very interested in paricipating on a panel, or presenting for children, as I am an award-winning children’s author. Take a peek at my Web site and see all the amazing adventures I have had with kids and books. I look foreward to hearing from you and hoping I can share in this wonderful community event. Kindest regards, Alva
How can I present at LitFest in May 2013 my latest book, UNDER THE BRIDGES AT ARROYO DEL REY: The Salon on the Spiritually Creative Life?
Dear Pasadena LitFest,
I am a local author and theatre director. I recently published my first book with Smith and Kraus (TO PLAY OR NOT TO PLAY: 50 GAMES FOR ACTING SHAKESPEARE) and with a second on the way.
Specializing in Shakespeare and other classical texts my work focuses on getting performers engaged with classical text in an on-you-feet practical way with games, exercises and acting tips.
I would love to become of Pasadena LitFest. Let me know how I can get involved and in what ways I can make a positive contribution to the festival.
Sincerely
Martin Jago

Hi Martin — sounds great. You could apply for a booth (see the app on our
website) or come and volunteer or … lots of opportunities. What suits
you? All best, Larry Wilson
Hi Carol! Congratulations on your new book. So sorry to be so long in replying here — we are just getting used to the various communication tools we have! Writing litfestpasadena@gmail.com works well — so does contacting me directly at lawrencephilipwilson@gmail.com. There is an exhibitor application at http://www.litfestpasadena.org on the Exhibitors page. All best, Larry Wilson
Hi Alva,
Our apologies for this tardy reply!! I glad to see you’ll be signing your books at Flintridge Bookstore’s booth! Please stay in touch for a children’s panel for next year and if you have ideas for themes we’d love to hear about them.
