Anita G. Parnell

Bells Toll Ad Infinitum, Sunday, May 7 at 12:30pm, Mt. View Mausoleum

Anita G. Parnell is a lover of life, family, travel, and progressive politics that serve “the least of these” among us. She is a proud native and product of Historic South Central Los Angeles, but also keeps her bag packed and ready to hit the road, or air, for her next adventure. After serving in the Marine Corps and as a Federal civil servant for 38 years, she spends her retirement spoiling her two granddaughters, and putting pen to page to reflect on her journey and the wisdom she’s gained,  and to preserve family memories of love, joy, and perseverance.

Books That Make a Difference: The Bible (a source of life and inspiration), The Green Mile by Stephen King, The Water is Wide by Pat Conroy, Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy, You’ll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey by Amber Ruffin and Lacey Lamar.
