Chetera Watson

Chetera Watson grew up in Los Angeles and attended local schools. She went to Manual Arts High School followed by receiving a B.A degree in English from California State University of Los Angeles. She then joined the U.S Peace Corps, and served two years in Uganda East Africa as a high school English teacher. She completed her schooling at Northwestern University earning a MA and Ph.D in Communicative Disorders. Chetera married William Watson, and they are the parents of eight children and grandparents of eighteen.
