Los Angeles native Jeri Westeron is the author of fifteen Crispin Guest Medieval Noir Mysteries, a series nominated for thirteen national awards from the Agatha to the Shamus. She currently writes the King’s Fool Mysteries, a Tudor mystery series featuring Henry VIII’s real court jester Will Somers as the reluctant sleuth, and a Sherlockian series called An Irregular Detective Mystery, with one of Sherlock Holmes’ former Baker Street Irregulars opening his own detective agency. She is the author of several paranormal series—an urban fantasy, a gaslamp/steampunk series—the Skyler Foxe Mysteries an LGBTQ mystery series, and several standalone historicals. She has served as president for the Southern California Chapter of Mystery Writers of America, and president and vice president for two Sisters in Crime chapters (Orange County and Los Angeles).
